At Centres for Spiritual Living we believe that Spirit works both through us, and as us. Being in sacred service is so much more than doing the task at hand. It's about actively engaging with Spirit.
There's an old Buddhist saying about "chop wood, carry water". At Centres for Spiritual Living we believe "how you do anything, is how you do everything".
Whether it's pouring coffee, helping someone select a book, or mowing the lawn, we are in service to a higher good, as well as to each other. In this way, we create positive collaborative teams that co-create the future.
Children are our future and there is no better way to enhance our future by enabling these growing young minds to flourish in the Science of Mind teachings.
While our youth programs are presently on hiatus we invite all children into our Centre. If you wish to make use of our Bookstore area to entertain your children, we are equipping it to be a fun and welcoming space. We are inviting anyone who loves to play with children to do so in that area once a month- please email [email protected].
We anticipate resuming our spiritual program for our newest generations of young vibrant individuals once we have people in place to offer the programs.
There are prepared lessons for children aged 5 and older (that may need some tweaking depending on who attends), and very simply require a loving and kind individuals to facilitate the lessons. They are simple, materials are handy and, of course, it is always fun! We require young at heart, joyfully spirited and very flexible people who love to be in sacred service.
Keep watch and if you have expertise with youngsters (newborn to 18),send an email inquiry to [email protected]
Our community ambassadors are in service on Sundays, and engage in a variety of tasks.
Mostly, they are the friendly person who welcomes you as you enter and can send you in the right direction and help you feel at home.
We have a Social Hour after service each Sunday.
Guests and the congregation enjoy the service of the coffee team. Coffee, tea and goodies are provided by this team.
Responsibilities: make coffee, set up area with goodies or clean up area, drain coffee and rinse urn.
Our newsletter goes out Monday morning.
We hope you enjoy it. Any questions, please use our contact form.
Be well,

We acknowledge that we are standing on Treaty 6 Territory; the land occupied, traveled and cared for by the Indigenous peoples as far back as there have been people on this land.
First Nation culture, history and language enrich our shared heritage and help us move forward in truth and collaboration on our journey to foster reconciliation.
We are all bound by the spirit and intent of Treaty 6 and share in the sacred responsibility of stewardship over these lands. Our prayer is the flourishing, peace and trust between all treaty peoples.
