This month's Board update from
Les Lefebvre, CSL Edmonton South President
Good day,
Just a few reminders from the CSL Edmonton South Board of Trustees as the Annual General Meeting Approaches and a reminder to put the date and time of the meeting in your calendar, 1-3 PM Saturday March 28, 2020.
We are still taking applications for the Board of Trustees until this weekend. If you are looking for a way to be in service and give back, being on the Board is a great way to do just that. If you have specific skills around policy creation, finance, programming, building maintenance or advocacy, we would love to have a conversation with you!
Also a reminder that you need to be a registered member to vote at the upcoming Annual Meeting. You can renew your membership or register online here: https://form.jotform.com/200577106300038
Finally, if you will be having a proxy, you will need to have that submitted no later than March 26, 2020. The proxy forms are attached to this email and remember that your proxy must also be a registered member!
Any questions about any of the above information should be directed to the Board. Please email [email protected]
Have a fabulous weekend and we will see you at Sunday services.
Kind regards,
CSL Edmonton South Board of Trustees

This month's Board update from
Les Lefebvre, CSL Edmonton South President
Happy Friday to you all! I hope this long weekend you are all making time in your lives for some self-care and love. This past year has been quite busy for our community and also quite full of change.
The great mystic of our time, Alan Watts said “The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” Our community had no choice but to plunge in, we did however have the choice to move and dance with it, and dance we did!
There have been a lot of people stepping into some big and small roles in the last several months to keep us moving forward. I am eternally grateful for every person who stepped up, whether it was to volunteer and be in service, sign up for intentional giving or simply just continuing to show up for our Sunday services.
We have more work to come and I trust and know that the right and perfect people and ideas are already exactly where they need to be for our wonderful Spiritual community to keep moving forward and upward.
I also wanted to let you know that I am always available if you have questions. I love hearing from you all and will find time, whether after a Sunday service or we could connect by email and set up a time to speak. My email will be in the signature line.
I wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day full of unconditional Love. I am excited about where we are today and also excited for where we are heading together! Something Wonderful is always happening here!
Namaste,
Les Lefebvre

Territory Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are standing on Treaty 6 Territory; the land occupied, traveled and cared for by the Indigenous peoples as far back as there have been people on this land.
First Nation culture, history and language enrich our shared heritage and help us move forward in truth and collaboration on our journey to foster reconciliation.
We are all bound by the spirit and intent of Treaty 6 and share in the sacred responsibility of stewardship over these lands. Our prayer is the flourishing, peace and trust between all treaty peoples.
